On 15 February I talked with the author/editor/translators of two compendiums of world literature: first with Peter Constantine, one of the editors and translators of The Greek Poets: Homer to the Present (W W Norton); then with Dennis Tedlock, author and translator of 2000 Years of Mayan Literature (University of California Press).
