Monday 22 January 2007
On 22 January I talked with Velina Hasu Houston, about her work, with special emphasis on her best know play Tea, which the Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra (CATS) is presenting at the Nevada Theatre in Nevada City until 10 February.
I then talked with Booktown's Brooklyn correspondent Erin Rogers about a number of books and authors, including Balthasar Gracian's The Art of Worldly Wisdom, Hark Helprin's Winter's Tale, Italo Calvino's Six Memos for the Next Millenium and the work of poets Les Murray and Charles Wright.
I'm out of town right now and will be adding links to the books and authors mentioned as I can.
