On 7 August I talked with David Bianculli, TV critic for the New York Daily News and frequent contributor to National Public Radio's Fresh Air. He will be leading workshops on criticism and on writing for broadcast at the CSUS Summer Writers' Conference 18-20 August.
I then played several pieces from Daryl Knight's CD The Real Heroes. Knight will be reading with Tony Argento and Dave P Fisher at the Nevada County Poetry Series annual Cowboy Poetry evening at 7:30 PM on Saturday 29 August at the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley.
